Dennis was born and raised in Germany. He moved to the Dominican Republic for his high school years and upon finishing, pursued a Bachelor"s degree in zoology at Michigan State University and a subsequent Master"s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After his college career he moved to Switzerland, where he currently lives.
Dennis' interest in photography started in 2004. While shooting a wide variety of subjects in his early years, he has since focused his energy solely on bird photography. His favorite subjects are songbirds and raptors of Europe and North America. Visit Dennis' website at:
