A medical practitioner by profession, Sohn Joo ’s passion is his love for nature and being in the wilderness. A serious amateur and passionate nature photographer since the early 1990s, his endeavors have seen him exploring and photographing wildlife and birds in all seven continents and five oceans of the world. His photographic work includes contributions to Birdlife Australia, and Australian Wildlife Conservancy. He has also contributions in a number of books and publications. He currently practices medicine in both Singapore and rural Australia, and spends much of his available time beyond his professional medical practice in the field photographing birds.
