For more than 25 years, I have a great passion for the Wadden Sea and its unique flora and fauna. In this way, digital nature photography has become my leisure activity number one. Also in Germany it is still possible to observe wild animals in their natural habitat, for example seals on the North Sea’s shores and, of course, numerous bird species. Already from an early age, I feel a deep connection with nature and thus, consider myself being also responsible for its conservation. In my pictures, I would like to express especially these two aspects.
Above all, I lost my photographic heart to our feathered friends. The clear reason for that are the gannets of Helgoland: ingenious birds, funny birds, elegant birds. My personal eldorado for nature photography!
