Jess Findlay

Jess Findlay is a 19 year old, emerging nature photographer from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. A childhood spent birdwatching and hiking sparked his interest in photographing the natural world. Jess is currently working with the British Columbia Conservation Foundation, surveying and studying endangered species throughout his home province. His growing portfolio is mainly comprised of birds, mammals and landscape scenes from the Pacific Northwest. His work has been shown in various national and international publications as well as in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Winner of the 2011 International Youth Photographer of the Year, Windland Smith Rice Award from Nature's Best Photography, Jess hopes to continue travelling to new locations to pursue his passion for sharing the outdoors through photographs.
