Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, in a family of nature lovers.
The birds have always been one of my great passions. As a child I  hated being standing still at home or in front of a computer, so I spent hours in the field trying to see and identify birds and observe their habits. This connection to birds, and the will to see them more closely, led me to buy a camera, which was upgraded over time. Thus, photographing birds in their habitat has become my main passion and since then I've photographed countless species of native and migratory birds present in the Iberian peninsula. Some of my photos have been published in brochures,  posters, as well as in scientific publications and national television programs of environmental disclosure.
