Willi Rolfes lives only a few kilometres away from his favourite location in Vechta, the bog. He works full-time as director of the Catholic Academy in Stapelfeld. Since 1981, Willi Rolfes is dedicated in improving his Photography of Nature. The stories he tells with his photos are published in newspapers, magazines and calendars. His individual projects are reflected in various illustrated books. Some of his photos were honoured at national and international photography competitions. As a member of „Gesellschaft Deutscher Tierfotografen“ GDT (Corporation of German Animal Photographers), his major concern is to make a contribution to integrity of creation by evoking appreciation due to his work.
